At Ripple, we believe marketing is a contact sport and intercepting and educating consumers is vital for the success of the brand. Our Brand Ambassadors are often the first experience a consumer has with our company  and our products, and it’s imperative that the experience is positive, memorable, and effective. This isn’t a “trade show” gig, this is a permanent position where you will work independently at your territory’s medical and adult-use dispensaries, promote the unique features and benefits of Ripple, and build authentic relationships with budtenders and retail staff.

Your role is to educate a wide range of audiences about Ripple in a meaningful and genuine way. We don’t take the local mall’s food court “free sample” approach. We engage with consumers by asking them thoughtful questions, so we can understand their needs and guide them through our product offerings. 

Ultimately, you are the face of the Ripple brand in your territory. Your attitude, approach, and abilities will directly impact the success of our field marketing efforts and growth within our accounts. While the majority of your time will be spent within retail locations, you will also be called in to support larger events and grand openings.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Working a minimum of 3 shifts (9 hours), with the potential to work as many as (25) hours a week depending on your availability and market needs.
  • Gathering vital information and intel from events and in-store activations and completing digital reports within 24 hours after your event or shift.
  • Managing a small inventory of promotional swag and material, including in-store vendor day collateral (table, signage, rug). 
  • Working with management to understand the competitive landscape and market trends. 
  • Capturing in-store information such as merchandising and branding points.
  • Representing the Ripple brand and effectively communicating our value propositions and technical differentiators

  • 1+ years of experience in a public-facing role (bonus points if you have experience in food/hospitality or retail) or currently enrolled in a college or university studying communications, marketing, or public relations.
  • OUTGOING. You’re not shy, you’re not quiet, you’re not easily intimidated. You are often the “life of the party,” but responsible enough to show up on time for your shift the next day. 
  • Comfortable using digital platforms and technology to input data, organize your schedule, and communicate with other team members.
  • Ability to learn and communicate brand-specific features and terminology of Ripple products.
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptive, and collaborative.
  • Must live in your assigned territory (no relocation assistance offered).
  • Clean driving record with reliable transportation. You will be reimbursed for mileage to/from events.

  • $25/hr with the potential to earn additional compensation based on event performance and metrics.
